Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I SUBMIT AN ONLINE AUDITION?
You may only submit once for our show using the online audition process which will include an initial application and one (1) or more audition videos as provided for in the Application Form and Terms and Conditions. Additional materials may also be required by Producer if you progress past the initial audition stage.  

DO I HAVE TO APPLY ONLINE OR CAN I AUDITION IN PERSON?
To audition for our show you will need to create a User profile through the online audition website. Unfortunately, we will not be holding in person auditions.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT MY AUDITION?
Audition materials can be submitted up until March 14, 2022, unless extended by producers to a later date.

WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK REGARDING MY SUBMISSION?
Our team intends to review all submissions. However, due to the large number of submissions, you will only be contacted by a Producer of the Program (or Producer’s designee) if you are chosen to move on to the next round of the audition process. Producer makes no guarantee that any video received will be reviewed or utilized in connection with the Program.

CAN I SUBMIT AN AUDITION IF I AM UNDER 18? 
No. You must be 18 years of age as of the date of your submission, or older to apply. 

DO I NEED TO BE A U.S. CITIZEN TO APPLY?
No, however, you must qualify to obtain a valid visa prior to travel to the United States or be a legal permanent resident.

I HAVE PARTICIPATED IN OTHER TELEVISED MUSIC COMPETITIONS AND/OR OTHER TELEVISION PROGRAMS. CAN I STILL SUBMIT?
Yes, provided that your previous participation does not restrict your ability to appear on the Program or your ability to participate in the prize. Any details in connection with ANY television appearances must be disclosed in the appropriate section of the application.

WILL I BE REQUIRED TO ENTER INTO AN OPTION FOR A RECORDING CONTRACT OR OTHER SILMIAR AGREEMENT, AS PART OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM?
Yes. There is a recording, songwriting, management and touring option required as part of participating in the Program.

IS THERE A LIST OF SONGS THAT I HAVE TO SING FOR THE AUDITION VIDEO?
No. Your initial audition video submission can be any song(s) and should be ones that best display your abilities. 

AM I ALLOWED TO PERFORM ORIGINAL SONGS?
Yes, original songs are welcomed.

CAN I PERFORM A COVER SONG?
Yes, you are allowed to perform covers. However, if you do perform a cover song, please upload a performance of an original song as well.

CAN GROUPS AUDITIONS?
No, solo artists only.

CAN OTHER PEOPLE BE IN THE VIDEO?
Yes, other people may appear in the video provided that you are the only person singing in your video.

CAN OTHER PEOPLE PROVIDE MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT FOR MY PERFORMANCE?
Yes, you may have other people provide musical accompaniment, as long as you are the only one singing.

CAN I AUDITION WITH INSTRUMENTS OR A BACKING TRACK?
You may perform a cappella or accompanied by backing tracks and/or instruments. 

HOW LONG SHOULD MY AUDITION VIDEO BE?
There is no limit on the length of any audition video you submit. However, no file can be larger than 10MB.

CAN I USE PREVIOUSLY RECORDED FOOTAGE OR PERFORMANCES AS MY AUDITION VIDEO?
You may submit (i) original, videos made specifically for this audition and/or (ii) a previously recorded video performance provided that it was recorded within the past six (6) months and that it captures your CURRENT image and sound.

I HAVE PREPARED MY AUDITION VIDEO(S) AND AM READY TO SUBMIT THEM. IN WHAT FORMAT SHOULD I SEND THEM?
Please submit your videos in one of the following formats: .avi, .wmv, .mp4, .m4v, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg

CAN I UPDATE MY PROFILE AFTER I HAVE SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION AND/OR AUDITION VIDEO?
You can continue to update your audition profile throughout the audition process and add up to five (5) audition videos total, by logging into your registered User account with your e-mail address and the password you created or you may email: musicaurbanacasting@gmail.com with any additional information. Please be sure to include your full name in any email correspondence.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE APPLICATION AND AUDITION VIDEO HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.
Due to the large volume of submissions, we are unable to acknowledge receipt of individual applications and/or videos that are submitted to the show. 

IS THERE ANY FEE ASSOCIATED WITH SETTING UP A USER ACCOUNT OR TO AUDITION FOR UNTITLED LATIN MUSIC PROJECT?
No. There is no set up fee or admittance fee associated with submitting an audition application and/or video in connection with the Program.

I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I TRY TO REGISTER.
You will receive an error message if a User account is already registered to the e-mail you are trying to register with. Try entering the system using the Sign In window instead of the Register window to complete your application and/or upload your audition video.

I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I TRY TO SIGN IN.
(1) If you have forgotten your password, simply click on Forgot My Password to create a new one and have it sent to your e-mail address that you registered with.

¿CUÁNTAS VECES PUEDO APLICAR EN LÍNEA PARA LA AUDICIÓN?
Puedes aplicar una sola vez para nuestro programa mediante el proceso de aplicación en línea, la cual incluirá una aplicación inicial y uno (1) o más videos de audición según lo dispuesto en el Formulario de Aplicación y en los Términos y Condiciones. Toma en cuenta que el productor puede requerir material adicional en caso de pasar la primera etapa de la audición inicial.
 
¿TENGO QUE APLICAR EN LÍNEA O PUEDO AUDICIONAR EN PERSONA?
Para aplicar a nuestro programa tendrás que crear un perfil de usuario a través del sitio web de las audiciones en línea. Desafortunadamente, no realizaremos audiciones en persona. 
 
¿CUÁNTO TIEMPO TENGO PARA ENVIAR MI AUDICIÓN?
El material de audición puede ser enviado hasta el 14 de marzo de 2022, a menos que los productores extiendan la fecha límite. 
 
¿CUÁNDO SABRÉ LOS RESULTADOS DE MI APLICACIÓN?
Nuestro equipo revisará todas las aplicaciones, sin embargo, debido a la gran cantidad de aplicaciones, serás contactado por un productor del programa (o algún designado del productor) si eres elegido para continuar con el siguiente paso del proceso de la audición. Los productores no garantizan que cualquier video recibido sea revisado o utilizado en relación con el programa.
 
¿PUEDO APLICAR A LA AUDICIÓN SI TENGO MENOS DE 18 AÑOS?
No. A la fecha de la aplicación, debes tener 18 años cumplidos o más para aplicar.
 
¿NECESITO SER CIUDADANO DE LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS PARA APLICAR?
No, sin embargo, debes calificar para obtener una visa válida antes de viajar a los Estados Unidos o debes ser residente permanente legal.
 
HE PARTICIPADO EN OTRAS COMPETICIONES DE MÚSICA TELEVISADA U OTROS PROGRAMAS DE TELEVISIÓN, AÚN ASÍ ¿PUEDO PARTICIPAR?
Sí, siempre que su participación previa no restrinja la posibilidad de aparecer en el programa o la posibilidad de participar por el premio. Cualquier detalle relacionado con CUALQUIER aparición previa en televisión, debe aparecer en la sección correspondiente de la aplicación. 
 
¿TENDRÉ QUE ENTRAR EN LA OPCIÓN DE UN CONTRATO DISCOGRÁFICO U OTRO ACUERDO SIMILAR COMO PARTE DE MI PARTICIPACIÓN EN EL PROGRAMA?
Sí. Hay una opción requerida de grabación, composición de canciones, administración y gira como parte de la participación en el programa.
 
¿HAY ALGUNA LISTA DE CANCIONES QUE TENGOQUE CANTAR PARA LA AUDICIÓN EN VIDEO?
No. Tu video de audición para la aplicación puede ser de cualquier canción y tiene que ser aquella que mejor muestre tus habilidades. 
 
¿PUEDO CANTAR CANCIONES ORIGINALES?
Sí, las canciones originales son bienvenidas. 
 
¿PUEDO CANTAR UNA CANCIÓN DE COVER?
Sí, está permitido cantar covers. Sin embargo, si cantas una canción cover, por favor, también sube un video cantando la canción original.
 
¿PUEDEN AUDICIONAR GRUPOS?
No, únicamente solistas. 
 
¿OTRAS PERSONAS PUEDEN APARECER EN EL VIDEO?
Sí, es posible que otras personas aparezcan en el video, toma en cuenta que solo tú puedes cantar en tu video.
 
¿OTRAS PERSONAS PUEDEN TOCAR INSTRUMENTOS MUSICALES EN EL VIDEO?
Sí, puedes tener acompañamiento de instrumentos musicales siempre y cuando seas la única persona cantando. 
 
¿PUEDO AUDICIONAR CON INSTRUMENTOS OCON UNA PISTA MUSICAL DE ACOMPAÑAMIENTO?
Puedes realizar la audición a capela o acompañada de una pista o instrumentos musicales.
 
¿CUÁNTO TIEMPO DEBE DURAR MI VIDEO DE AUDICIÓN?
No hay límite de tiempo para ningún video de audición que envíes. Sin embargo, el archivo digital no debe pesar más de 10MB.
 
¿PUEDO UTILIZAR GRABACIONES PREVIAS DE CANTO PARA LA AUDICIÓN?
Puedes (i) enviar videos originales hechos específicamente para esta audición, y/o (ii) enviar un video previamente grabado dentro de los últimos seis (6) meses que capte tu imagen y sonido (voz) actual. 
 
HE PREPARADO MI VIDEO(S) DE AUDICIÓN Y ESTOY LISTO PARA ENVIARLOS. ¿EN QUÉ FORMATO DEBO ENVIARLOS?
Por favor envía tus videos en cualquiera de los siguientes formatos: .avi, .wmv, .mp4, .m4v, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg
 
 
¿PUEDO ACTUALIZAR MI PERFIL DESPUÉS QUE HAYA ENVIADO MI APLICACIÓN Y/O VIDEO DE AUDICIÓN?
Puedes continuar actualizando tu perfil de audición a lo largo del proceso de audición y agregar hasta cinco (5) videos de audición en total. Lo puedes hacer ingresando a tu cuenta registrada con tu usuario, con tu correo electrónico y la contraseña que hayas creado. También puedes contactarnos en musicaurbanacasting@gmail.com para cualquier duda o información adicional. Por favor, asegúrate de ingresar tu nombre completo en cualquier correo electrónico que envíes. 
 
¿CUÁNDO RECIBIRÉ LA CONFIRMACIÓN DE QUE LA APLICACIÓN O EL VIDEO DE APLICACIÓN HA SIDO RECIBIDO?
Debido a la gran cantidad de aplicaciónes que recibimos, no nos es posible confirmar individualmente la recepción de cada aplicación o video de aplicación que se han enviado al programa. 
 
¿EXISTE ALGÚN COSTO ASOCIADO CON LA CREACIÓN UNA CUENTA DE USUARIO O PARA AUDICIONAR PARA EL PROYECTO UNTITLED LATIN MUSIC?
No. No hay ningún costo ni tarifa de admisión asociada con el envío de audiciones y/o video de audición relacionado con el programa. 
 
ESTOY RECIBIENDO UN MENSAJE DE ERROR CUANDO INTENTO REGISTRARME. 
Recibirás un mensaje de error si una cuenta de usuario ya está registrada al correo electrónico que has ingresado para registrarte. Intenta ingresar al sistema usando la opción Sing In en lugar de la ventana de Register (registrarse) para completar tu aplicación y/o subir un video de aplicación. 
 
ESTOY RECIBIENDO UN ERROR DE MENSAJE CUANDO INTENTO INICIAR SESIÓN.
(1) Si has olvidado tu contraseña, selecciona la opción Forgot My Password (olvidé mi contraseña) para crear una contraseña nueva. Asegúrate de ingresar el correo electrónico con el que te registraste para continuar con el cambio de contraseña.
