FAQS – ABOUT THE SHOW

WHAT IS THE SHOW I AM APPLYING FOR?
This is a brand-new game show for a major streaming service where you will be competing against a group of people to win up to $100,000 by answering trivia, puzzles, and brain teaser questions correctly! Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado who hosts game nights or a brand-new player ready to test your skills in the world of puzzles and brain teasers, this show is for you!
 

WHAT NETWORK IS THE SHOW ON & WHEN WILL IT AIR? 
This is for a major streaming platform. As of now, the network is confidential and the air dates are TBD but you will be given more information if you continue to move forward in our casting process.


FAQS – ABOUT THE CASTING PROCESS

WHAT DOES THE CASTING PROCESS ENTAIL?Once your application is reviewed, if our casting directors would like to consider you for our show, you will receive an email with next steps. There are two possible next steps:

1) You may receive an email from one of our casting producers if they would like for you to schedule a zoom interview to get to know you a little bit better.

2) If our casting producers don’t have any further questions because you did such an amazing job telling us all about you in your self-submitted video, you may skip the zoom interview and move directly to the next stage. Our coordinating team will then send you a contestant agreement and a background check form. Once the forms are returned, our coordinating team will be in contact with you to discuss your schedule and shoot details. 
If you didn’t get a chance to upload a self-video, please log back into your application and do so!

HOW MANY CONTESTANTS ARE YOU CASTING?
As of now, the number of contestants being cast for this project is TBD.

WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I AM OFFICIALLY SELECTED FOR THE SHOW?
We review our casting applications as they come in and our casting team could be reaching out to you any time before the application deadline with next steps. Please make sure your phone number and email are correct on your casting application so we can reach you.

I AM NOT A TRIVIA OR BRAIN TEASER EXPERT - WILL I STILL BE CONSIDERED?
ABSOLUTELY! We are casting people of all skill levels, genders, backgrounds, and ages (18+) so don’t feel pressured to get all of the questions right on the application quiz - just do your best!

WHAT IF I AM NOT LOCATED IN LOS ANGELES - CAN I STILL BE CONSIDERED?
ABSOLUTELY! As this show is shooting in Los Angeles, you must be willing and able to travel to our studio and cover any and all of your travel accommodations and expenses.

WHAT IF I KNOW SOMEONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO PARTICIPATE?
We are definitely looking for pairs and groups of people to participate on the show! If you know someone else who’s interested in participating, please send them a link to the casting application and have them fill it out ASAP! In the question “How did you hear about our casting call”, have them click OTHER, and write your FULL NAME and their relationship to you. Be sure to let a casting team member know so we can be on the lookout! 

WILL I BE INFORMED IF I AM NOT SELECTED FOR THE SHOW?Due to the high number of applicants, we cannot respond individually to each applicant regarding status but if the casting team would like to move you forward, you will receive an email, call or text on or before the application deadline.


FAQS – ABOUT THE SHOOT

***If you are selected to participate on the show, our coordinating team will be available to answer each and every one of your questions as you move forward through the casting process.

IF SELECTED, IS THERE COMPENSATION FOR PARTICIPATING?
As of now, there is no compensation for participating but you do have the chance to win up to $100,000!
 
IF SELECTED, WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE? WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

If selected to participate, you must be available to film in Los Angeles for 1 day (to be determined) in January/February 2024. Must be located in or around the greater Los Angeles area or willing to
 
IF SELECTED, WHEN IS THE SHOOT TAKING PLACE?

As of now, you will need to be available any day between Thursday, January 18th and Wednesday, February 14th, 2024. Our coordinating team will confirm your exact shoot date in the final step of the casting process.
 
IF SELECTED, DO I NEED TO BE VACCINATED TO PARTICIPATE?

As of now, there is no vaccination requirement to participate but covid testing will be required. Details TBD and subject to change.
 
 

 


FAQS – ABOUT THE REGISTRATION FORM

The following list contains common questions regarding registration with the Cast It Reach platform. The answers given here should solve most of the issues applicants may face during registration.

Registration and Sign In

Q: I try to register and see the following message: "Email address already exists".
A: This happens when a user is already registered with their email address but tries to register again. Simply enter the system using the Sign In window instead of Register.

Q: I am already registered to the system. Now I try to sign in and I get the following message: "Incorrect email or password".
A: This can happen for two possible reasons:

  1. You may have forgotten your password. Simply click on Forgotten my password and a new password will be sent to your email address.
  2. You may have used a different email address or made a typo when you first registered. In such case, please contact us and provide your name and email address.

Q: I get a message telling me that my session has expired, or that my browser blocks cookies.
A: A session expires after several hours of inactivity. Simply sign in again using the Sign In window. If it happens again after you signed in, make sure that cookies are enabled in your browser.

Q: What browsers can I use to register?
A: The registration system works best on Chrome browser. It also supports Firefox (version 3.5 and newer) and Internet Explorer (version 10 and newer), Safari and Edge.

Completing the Application Form

Q: I click on the Next button to go to the next page, but the system won't let me.
A: The system allows you to progress to the next page only after all required questions (marked with a red star) have been completed. Scroll up to find the missing answer, which will be marked with a red message such as: This field is required.

Q: I haven’t finished answering all the questions. Can I save my work and continue later?
A: Yes. Simply click on the Continue Later button and the system will save your progress. You will be able to return and complete your application at any time using the Sign In panel. Use your email address and the password you chose to sign in.

Media Upload

Q: I am trying to upload photos but I get the following message: "Max file size 6MB".
A: Photo upload is limited to 6MB per image.

Q: My photos are smaller than 6MB but I still get an error message.
A: Supported formats are common image formats: JPG, GIF or PNG. Please verify that the images you upload are in one of these formats.
